Our nurses provide services for the following:

• Asthma
• Smoking Cessation
• Baby and Childhood Immunisations
• Holiday Vaccinations (booked 6 weeks before vacation)
• Vaccines for other reasons, eg occupational health
• Cryotherapy (cold treatment eg for warts)
• Diabetes
• Coronary Heart Disease
• Cervical Cytology (ie ‘Smears’ for ladies)
• Hypertension

Health Care Assistants

Our Health Care Assistants are trained to do specific tasks, e.g. blood taking (phlebotomy), doing ECGs, Respiratory tests, Blood Pressures and 24-hour Blood Pressures amongst others. They play an important part in supporting the rest of our healthcare professionals with day-to-day patient care duties.
